The Regal theatre is temporarily closed to allow a COVID deep-clean to take place.
Council has today been made aware that unfortunately a staff member tested positive to COVID.
Council’s contact cleaners are currently onsite and, all going well, the Theatre will reopen tomorrow 2 January.
Although the employee had limited contact with patrons, and was wearing a mask, if you attended the theatre on 30 December, please consider having a COVID test.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this temporary closure may cause.
