A trail-bike rider has died following a crash in Sydney’s southwest.
About 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 5 June 2024), emergency services were called to Gilba Road at Pendle Hill, near Warman Street, following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
It was established the rider of a trailbike lost control and collided with two cars.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the male rider of a trailbike at the scene for various injuries; however, he died at Westmead hospital.
The drivers of the other vehicles involved, a 45-year-old man and a 59-year-old man, were taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
While the rider is yet to be formally identified, it’s believed the man was aged in his late 20s.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
