A 76-year-old woman from Boronia is expected to be charged on summons with traffic related offences following an incident in Ringwood last night.
Police were operating a random breath testing site on Canterbury Road when the woman was waved in for a test about 6.30pm.
It is alleged the woman returned a positive result and accompanied police for an evidentiary test where she returned an alleged reading of 0.162.
Her licence was immediately suspended and her car impounded with towing costs of $1005.
