Seven northern Sydney councils have teamed up with local illustrator Oscar Nimmo to create the 2022 Road Safety Calendar.

Road safety is more than just fatalities and serious injuries. It is a part of our daily life as a pedestrian, rider, motorist or user of public transport. Road safety is something that affects us all. The choices we make can have a real impact on the safety of ourselves, our loved ones, and our community.
The unique look of the 2022 Road Safety Calendar will appeal to all age groups and has messages that are relevant to all kinds of road users.
These messages can act as a conversation starter for you and your family, friends and colleagues.
The 2022 calendar will provide tips on visibility for vulnerable road users, getting to school using active travel, safe parking tips, avoiding distraction as a pedestrian and more.
The 2022 Road Safety Calendar is being distributed by participating Councils via their customer service centres, community facilities such as leisure centres, libraries, health providers and schools.
Road Safety Officers are part of the Local Government Road Safety Program, a partnership between Transport for NSW and participating local Councils in NSW.
