Australia’s journey to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022™ will continue next week with a 5-day non-residential training camp in Blacktown, NSW.
The training camp marks the Commonwealth Bank Young Matildas’ third assembly since their participation in August’s tournament was confirmed in March.
Held at the NSW base of the Future Matildas program, Blacktown International Sportspark, head coach Leah Blayney has called up 26 players for the training camp with representation from across Australia.
Forwards Holly Furphy, Ellen Gett and Katie Godden become the latest players to have the opportunity to impress with their first CommBank Young Matildas training camp call up this year.
It is the latest activity for the U20 Women’s ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Team as they work towards their opening match against Costa Rica on 10 August 2022 at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica.
