The First Nations Digital Inclusion roadmap recommends practical actions that government and industry can take in the immediate, medium and long term to close the digital divide and support First Nations digital empowerment and excellence.
The roadmap considers the three components of digital inclusion – access, affordability, and digital ability, as well as access to information and media, data, and governance and advocacy.
It builds on the Advisory Group’s , the and the in the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Agreement on Closing the Gap.
The Government has begun delivering on some of the recommendations from the Advisory Group’s initial report, with $68 million in the 2024-25 Budget for First Nations digital inclusions projects.
