From today, roadworks have commenced on sections of the Wolgan Gap Road to repair the pavement and clear some debris from the drains
The project consists of laying a new asphalt seal over sections of the Wolgan Gap Road pavement. This work is being conducted to best maintain the integrity of the Wolgan Gap while design work continues on the significant, but permanent repair. The road will be open during these works however there may be some minor delays. The works will continue for about 5 days, excluding Saturday or Sundays.
Traffic control will be in place and works are expected to run from 7.30am to 4.30pm. Motorists are reminded that the speed limit is 40KMH and the load limits for the road is 5 tonnes.
