Jeremy Rockliff’s refusal to speak with ABC statewide mornings host Leon Compton during the election campaign is weak and disappointing – but hardly surprising.
He copped such a hiding in the debate yesterday that his spin doctors from Font PR have obviously advised him not to go near anymore tough questioning this campaign.
Instead of going on, Mr Rockliff has squibbed it and has refused to subject himself to any difficult questions.
Mr Rockliff and his spin doctors obviously realise that the Liberals and Mr Rockliff have had an awful campaign with very bad policies including a forest policy rejected by the forest industry, a ramping ban policy that’s been banned and an un-democratic policy to kick people out of parliament if they disagree with the Liberals.
Mr Rockliff clearly doesn’t want to go on and discuss these duds, some of his dodgy candidates that include MPs under Integrity Commission investigation, an anti-vax doctor and climate change denier and the fact the state is in a health, housing and cost of living crisis that after ten years, he’s done nothing about.
