Council is thrilled to announce the 14 successful recipients of the August round (Round Two) of the 2024 Community Grants program totalling over $44,000. This initiative supports not-for-profit community organisations, groups, projects, events, and exhibitions that enhance the vibrant and dynamic region of Campaspe.
Mayor, Cr Daniel Mackrell, expressed delight in seeing community groups take advantage of the opportunity to upgrade equipment and develop new initiatives within their organisations.
“We are excited to help fund so many wonderful ideas and initiatives across the shire and look forward to seeing the results of each application,” Cr Mackrell said.
Council is currently reviewing all community grants programs to streamline the process for the community, and is seeking feedback via a short survey on Council’s website. Survey participants can go in a draw for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card.
“We encourage the community to tell us what they think about the grant programs we run so we can try to make it more straightforward to provide funding and support for so many wonderful community initiatives,” he added.
