Gather your friends and family for an unforgettable day exploring awe-inspiring sculptures at Sculptures Rock, a brand-new event set to captivate art lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
This incredible exhibition promises a visual feast for the senses, combined with a vibrant program of activities to celebrate creativity and community.
Whether you’re a local or traveling from afar, Sculptures Rock is a fantastic way to support the arts and enjoy South West Rocks’ stunning coastal charm.
The exhibition features breathtaking large-scale sculptures displayed across the picturesque grounds of South West Rocks’ heritage-listed Maritime Museum and Visitors Centre, Arts and Crafts Cottage and Art Gallery. Intimate, smaller works will be showcased in the historic Pilot House, home to the South West Rocks Community Art Gallery.
Dell Adams-Nuhoglu, President of the South West Rocks Community Art Gallery, shared her excitement about the event:
“In the spirit of Sculpture in the Gaol, Sculptures Rock is shaping up to be an exciting and creative event for South West Rocks. Organisers are thrilled with the response to this exhibition, with over 50 entries in our very first year.” Said Dell.
The sparkling beaches of South West Rocks will provide the perfect backdrop to the display, with the large outdoor sculptures nestled amongst the grounds of the heritage-listed buildings of the Maritime Museum and Visitor Information Centre, Arts and Crafts Cottage and Art Gallery. The small entries will be displayed inside the gorgeous Pilot House where the Art Gallery resides.
