The Australian Government is commencing a merit-based selection process to appoint a Chief Executive for the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital Authority, following the retirement of Ms Sally Barnes, which takes effect on 29 February 2024.
As an Australian Government statutory authority, the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Capital Authority (NCA) Board is made up of a Chair, Chief Executive and three additional members, all of whom are appointed by the Governor-General on advice from the Government.
The role of Chief Executive is a full-time position, responsible for the strategic management of the NCA, helping maintain and develop Canberra as a national capital of which all Australians can be proud.
Advertising for the position has now commenced, through national media and online recruitment platforms, with applications closing 19 November 2023.
