The DTA is inviting all ERP providers to apply for Category 3 Enterprise Resource Planning Products and Service Solutions on the Software Marketplace – Software Licensing and Services Panel
We have released a new to establish a third category on the Software Marketplace for ERP products and service solutions.
The RFT supports the recently announced Australian Public Service ERP approach which provides non-corporate Commonwealth entities greater autonomy and choice in modernising ERP systems now and into the future.
“The RFT is an important step for the DTA in supporting the Government to implement its new approach,” explains Wayne Poels, General Manager of Digital Investment Advice and Sourcing for the DTA, “Once established, it will be mandatory for non-corporate government entities to access ERP core and edge products through this new category.”
Following industry engagement and consultation, the DTA has released the request for tender documentation which incorporates industry feedback to validating that the Commonwealth’s future ERP requirements can be met by the market.
The RFT will be used to establish a new category that includes one product class (ERP core and edge) and eight related services classes including:
- Research and design services
- Project and change management services
- Business analysis and process optimisation services
- Application software development services
- Cybersecurity services
- Solutions implementation, integration and testing services
- Data analytics and business intelligence services
- Training, learning and development services
“This is the first time the Digital Transformation Agency has dedicated a category for enterprise resource planning,” Said Mr Poels, “All sellers who provide products and services in line with these product classes and related service classes are encouraged to apply.”
Please note, all sellers currently approved to sell under the Software Marketplace must apply under this category to sell ERP core and edge products and services.
