A free Melissa Langton and Mark Jones concert headlines a list of 15 events in the Wimmera that are part of October’s Victorian Seniors Festival.
The award-winning couple have been one of Australia’s most popular cabaret acts for more than 15 years and now they are Horsham-bound with a free show on Friday 21 October from 9.30am at Horsham Church of Christ.
Langton and Jones have performed to great acclaim in Dublin, Berlin, Vienna and wowed Manhattan, winning awards such as the prestigious Green Room Award for Best Cabaret Artist and together won Best Cabaret.
Their Horsham show, called What’s New Pussycat, will feature popular songs from the 1960s.
The Seniors Festival program is bursting with Council and community events encouraging people to stay independent and connected to their community.
