A 32-year-old Goranba man has been charged following an incident at Tara on February 16.
Around 10.30am at a Binnie Street address a man was allegedly located with a small bladed weapon. Police will allege the man lunged at an officer whilst armed before fleeing the scene. No one was injured.
The man was taken into custody in Tara on February 18.
He has been charged with one count of serious assault of a police officer whilst armed with a weapon and is due to appear before Dalby Magistrates Court on February 20.
