Serious traffic crash, Pacific Pines (Gold Coast)

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a motorbike rider was seriously injured in a single-vehicle traffic crash at Pacific Pines this afternoon, June 23.

Emergency services were called to the Pacific Bines Boulevard address just after 3.30pm following reports a Yamaha motorcycle had crashed into a fence.

Upon arrival, the rider, an 18-year-old Maudsland man, was located with life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he is undergoing surgery.

Witnesses or anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
