Heavy rainfall
- The city continues to experience rainfall and more is expected throughout the day.
- Several roads are currently closed across the city and we remind motorists to NEVER DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
- Due to recent rain, our catchments are more reactive to rainfall than normal so we ask everyone to be on high alert for flooding.
- Do not allow children to play in or near flood waters or drains.
Operation Clean Up
- is well underway with kerbside collection starting tomorrow, 10 January.
- The first streets for pick-up will be in Helensvale as these streets are the most heavily impacted.
- Please get out your rubbish today.
