Armadale Detectives are investigating the suspicious circumstances surrounding a large bushfire in Seville Grove on Saturday, 16 February 2019.
About 3.25pm, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire in bushland at the intersection of Westfield Road and Champion Drive. The fire had the potential to destroy nearby homes.
Detectives are urging anyone who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles or who has any dash cam footage of the area around the time of the fires is asked to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the apprehension and subsequent conviction of an arsonist.
