Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a 39-year-old man as a result of an ongoing investigation into an alleged sexual assault on Saturday 12 February 2022 in the Hamilton Hill area.
It will be alleged that about 4:55am, the victim (female in her 20s) was collected by the man, who she believed was a rideshare driver. It will be further alleged that before taking the victim to her home address, the man sexually assaulted her.
The 39-year-old man from Beckenham has been charged with:
– 2 x Sexual Penetration without Consent
– 1 x Unlawful and Indecent Assault
He will next appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 6 September 2022.
