SHINE SA Celebrates and Affirms Trans and Gender Diverse People

SHINE SA

SHINE SA celebrates and affirms trans and gender diverse communities.

Trans and gender diverse people deserve to thrive and have the right to access healthcare with respect and without discrimination.

SHINE SA’s CEO Holley Skene said:

“This Friday 31 March is International Transgender Day of Visibility – a day designed to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse experiences and achievements of trans and gender diverse people around the world.

In order to be visible, trans and gender diverse people need to be safe. To achieve this safety, we must work together to eliminate discrimination and create communities that value and celebrate diversity, inclusion and respect.

In light of recent events here in Australia and overseas, SHINE SA sends a message of support to all trans and gender diverse people. SHINE SA will continue to strive towards safe and affirming services and programs for LGBTIQA+ communities in South Australia now and always. We stand in solidarity with trans and gender diverse people.”
