The monitored swimming sites include Shoalhaven Heads Beach, Tilbury Cove, Warrain Beach, Collingwood Beach, Cudmirrah Beach, Mollymook Beach, Rennies Beach, Bawley Point Beach, Merry Beach and Racecourse Beach.
Each year, In partnership with the Beachwatch program, Shoalhaven City Council monitors 10 swimming sites. For the most recent report, samples were collected weekly between December 2019 and March 2020 with sampling and laboratory costs covered by Council.
Council will again be taking part in Beachwatch over the next three months. To ensure that all samples are taken the same way and information is correct, sampling activities are audited regularly each year.
