Police are at the scene of a shooting in Lockleys, where a 16-year-old boy was shot in the stomach.
Just after 9.30am today (Monday, 22 July) police and emergency services were called to a house in Malurus Avenue, after reports that a man had fired a shot through a window and hit a boy inside the house.
The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The suspect was wearing a black shirt and black pants, and was last seen running west away from the premises.
While it is early in the investigation, at this stage it is not believed to be a random incident.
