The City of Perth’s Shop in Full Colour campaign has arrived just in time to help Perth bloom for spring.
The new campaign will showcase the rich and diverse retail experience that only the city can offer with its mix of unique boutiques, international brands, flagship stores, all-day entertainment and distinctive dining destinations.
As well as supporting local business, Shop in Full Colour will help create a sense of vibrancy throughout the city for visitors and residents to enjoy, bursting with school holiday workshops, local markets, interactive art and much more.
The well-loved Twilight Hawkers Market will be back with smaller pop-up editions in all-new locations from 20 September to 12 October.
Plus, a unique sensory experience, Sense of Spring, will brighten up unused spaces with colourful spring-themed delights. Here, visitors can explore the city spaces with all their senses.
For families, there will be interactive school holiday workshops in Forrest Place where little ones can learn about the Nyoongar six seasons and bush tucker food. Children can also learn how to make flower crowns, terrarium gardens, origami seed packs, insect and bee hotels and much more.
There will also be colourful picnic tables through the city, giant dandelions to discover, interactive art in Elizabeth Quay, free outdoor fitness classes and giveaways.
“Whether you’re after a unique shopping experience, want to experience some new cuisines or dishes, or entertain the family throughout the school holidays, there’s truly something for everyone and every budget in the city,” City of Perth Chair Commissioner Andrew Hammond said.
“With such an array of enticing offers and exciting experiences, Shop in Full Colour makes it easy to plan a day out in the city that celebrates the start of spring and takes advantage of the increasing temperature and sunshine.”
Shop, dine and play in full colour in the city this spring from 2 September until 13 October.
