Shots fired into Bonnyrigg home, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance after shots were fired at a home in Sydney’s west overnight.

Emergency services were called to a home on Tarlington Parade, Bonnyrigg, just before 11.30pm (Monday 31 August 2020), following reports shots had been fired.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.

Nine people – including two children – were home at the time, but no one was injured.

Police have been told a person was seen fleeing in a white hatchback following the attack.

No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.

The incident is now being investigated by detectives, who are appealing for anyone with information to contact Fairfield Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
