A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the states Mid North Coast.
About 3pm yesterday (Friday 15 March 2024), emergency services were called to Moleton Road, Lowanna – about 35 kms northwest of Coffs Harbour, after reports a car left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver – a 76-year-old man – was treated by paramedics who performed CPR; however, he died at the scene.
Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
