Queensland Police have recovered six stolen vehicles from a single property and arrested four people following investigations by Logan District Detectives this past weekend.
It will be alleged around 2:45pm on Sunday, January 14, PolAir sighted multiple reported stolen vehicles parked at a Camp Cable Road, Logan Village address.
Following further enquires, Logan Detectives, assisted by PolAir, executed a search warrant at the address and seized the stolen vehicles.
The vehicles included a white LDV utility (NSW registration EPY33C), a black Volkswagen transporter van (Qld registration 634YWA), a silver Mazda CX7 (Qld registration 639XOJ), a white Nissan Navara (Qld registration BIB150), a grey Holden Colorado (Qld registration 356SW) and a KTM motorcycle (Qld registration 438WY).
The vehicles were seized for forensic examination where they are expected to be returned to owners in the coming weeks.
Four people who were at the property were also taken into custody.
A 27-year-old Woody Point man was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and fraud.
A 40-year-old Inala man was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.
A 36-year-old Logan Village man was charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 29-year-old Logan Reserve man was charged with on count of evade police.
All four are scheduled to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
Officer in Charge of the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch Detective Senior Sergeant Daniel Cunningham said the successful outcome of the operation highlighted the excellent work done by various units in the Logan District.
“Police will continue to target property offenders and disrupt, prevent and investigate vehicles stolen in the Logan district,” Detective Senior Sergeant Cunningham said.
