Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested two men in relation to an alleged aggravated burglary in Mildura this morning.
It is alleged offenders attended a home on Sarnia Avenue just after 9.30am.
The victim disturbed a male offender in her laundry picking up a pair of her shoes.
The males fled the home in a Ford Territory with the victim’s shoes.
Quick thinking police cordoned the area and identified the offenders involved.
Detectives searched a Eaglesham Street home and located one male inside the home and another hiding underneath a bed.
The Territory was located in the backyard of the property and the victim’s shoes were found in a bin.
Both men were arrested at 9.45am.
A 44-year-old Mildura man and a 25-year-old Merbein man are currently being interviewed by police.
