The Opposition Leader must today instruct the Labor Party to repay the hundreds of thousands of dollars Labor received in campaign donations from the CFMEU.
Under the reign of disgraced boss John Setka, the union funnelled massive donations into state Labor coffers.
It’s simply not good enough for Mr Winter to tell the party not to accept any more donations while turning a blind eye to the years the Party has been bankrolled by the corrupt union.
Labor and Mr Winter are tainted by the money.
Mr Winter showed how weak he is by repeatedly refusing to condemn Mr Setka’s outrageous threat to Tasmanian jobs.
Mr Winter didn’t have the guts to intervene because he knew Labor is beholden to the rogue union and its tainted donations.
If Mr Winter doesn’t ensure Labor repay the money, it shows how weak he really is.
