These closures apply to all visitor areas in these parks, including the Biamanga Cultural Area, Mimosa Rocks walking track, hut and cabin accommodation, and campgrounds.

These closures will give NPWS staff space to undertake ongoing fire suppression activities.

NSW Rural Fire Service, with support from NPWS, are leading the incident response for the Coolagolite bushfire with firefighters, heavy machinery and aircraft working to contain the fire.

NPWS apologises for any inconvenience, however, the safety of national park visitors and staff is the highest priority.

All park visitors must check for up-to-date information on park conditions and closures across the state.

The more than 7000-hectare Coolagolite Road Fire is currently at Advice Level. Further information on this and other fires in NSW is available via the or the .
