Dessert-lovers can get their sweet fix sorted at South West Sydney’s best food festival, Liverpool on a Roll, which returns to Greenway Park in West Hoxton on Saturday 9 November.

Torch Me Crème Brûlée, Mr Puff Loukoumades, La Rumbla Streats, Bubble and Cream’d Ice Cream will offer a range of ‘on a roll’ sweet treats, which draw inspiration from Europe, Asia and the islands of Hawaii, at the popular food festival.

“Council is delighted to announce the next wave of food vendors who will be at our spring edition of multicultural food festival Liverpool on a Roll,” Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.

“They’ll be selling hugely popular sweet treats that meet our event’s fun ‘on a roll’ concept, playing on traditional dessert ingredients to produce all-new must-try creations.”

Torch Me Crème Brûlée founder Wendy Kuoch said she was excited to bring a range of delicious creations to Liverpool on a Roll.

“Our signature offering will be Hawaiian Shaved Ice, which is a shaved ice ‘mountain’ containing a vanilla ice cream centre, topped with fresh strawberry and passionfruit puree, strawberry and passionfruit popping boba, pillowy soft mochi and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk,” she said.

“We’ll also have our delicious freshly-torched crème brûlée and refreshing lychee lemonade for those after something less decadent and more traditional.”

Other decadent offerings include La Rumbla Streats’ gelato on a brioche bun and Mr Puff Loukoumades’ traditional deep-fried Greek doughnuts, drizzled with Nutella, honey, caramel or sugar and cinnamon.

They’re joined by returning stallholder Cream’d Ice Cream, who will be serving made-to-order Thai-style ice cream rolls topped with an assortment of fresh fruits or sweets.

Those after something lighter can head to Bubble, who will serve premium milk tea with brown sugar and lychee, grape or mango flavoured green tea in a glow-in-the-dark reusable bottle.

“Liverpool on a Roll is a fantastic opportunity to bring the best in food to our suburbs,” Mayor Waller said.

“In addition to international cuisine, Liverpool on a Roll will feature live entertainment, giveaways, garden games and a pop-up beer garden.

“I look forward to celebrating with the wider community at Liverpool on a Roll and sharing a taste of the great South West with those who live in our city and beyond.”

Liverpool on a Roll will be held from 4pm – 10pm on Saturday 9 November at Greenway Park, West Hoxton. All food items will be capped at $12 and a full line-up of stallholders will be released soon.
