The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.
The confirmed case is a female traveller who returned to Perth from overseas. She is in hotel quarantine.
The State’s positive COVID-19 case total is now 769. WA Health is monitoring 42 active cases and 718 people have recovered from the virus.
Yesterday 386 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 382 were assessed and 381 swabbed.
There have been 487,990 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 82,416 were from regional WA.
