COVID Cases in SA
There have been 3,122 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today. There are currently 17,654 active cases in South Australia.
There are 136 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 10 people in ICU, and two people requiring a ventilator. Of those hospitalised, 82 people are fully vaccinated, 45 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and nine have an unknown vaccination status.
Due to a reconfiguration of the data, the total number of cases has been readjusted.

Regular genome sampling is taken to monitor the levels of Omicron within South Australia with 100% of the latest sampling returning an Omicron result.

COVID testing
Yesterday, 10,169 people received a PCR test in South Australia, which is a 18.9% increase on the previous 24 hours. Of the test results returned yesterday, 1,863 PCR tests were positive, while 1,259 positive Rapid Antigen Test results were reported.
Vaccination update
Currently 94.9% of eligible South Australians aged 12+ have received their first dose of the vaccine and 92.4% have received their second dose. Boosters have been administered to 69.1% of eligible South Australians and 59.9% of South Australians aged 16+.
