COVID Cases in SA
There have been 3,457 new cases of COVID-19 reported in South Australia today. There are currently 28,997 active cases in South Australia.
Sadly, SA Health can confirm a man in his 70s, a man in his 80s, a woman in her 60s and a woman in her 90s who tested positive for COVID-19, have passed away.
There are 237 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 12 people in ICU, and one person requiring a ventilator. Of those hospitalised, 162 people are fully vaccinated, 69 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 6 have an unknown vaccination status.
Due to a reconfiguration of the data, the total number of cases has been readjusted.

COVID testing
Yesterday, 11,546 people received a PCR test in South Australia, which is a 3% increase on the previous 24 hours. Of the test results returned yesterday, 2,761 PCR tests were positive, while 696 positive Rapid Antigen Test results were reported.
