Kalgoorlie Detectives with the assistance of Arson Squad officers are investigating a house fire that occurred in South Kalgoorlie yesterday, Monday 5 December 2022.
About 7pm, Department of Emergency Services (DFES) and police attended the home on Boomerang Crescent. DFES extinguished the fire which caused extensive damage to the home. The damage cost is estimated to be $350,000.
The circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire is being investigated.
Police urge anyone who has CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the area between 6.45pm and 7.30pm, or who has information relating to this fire, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
