Police nabbed a speeding drink driver at Bonegilla this afternoon.
State Highway Patrol-North officers clocked a Ford Falcon utility travelling at 137km/h in a 100km zone on the Murray Valley Highway just before 3pm.
The driver, a 50-year-old man, returned a positive preliminary breath test and police established his vehicle had been unregistered for three years.
He was taken to a police station where he returned a breath test of .097.
The Kiewa man is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and exceed speed.
