A 19-year-old man had his car impounded after he was caught speeding in Reservoir last night.
Greensborough Highway Patrol officers clocked a 2007 Subaru Liberty on Mahoneys Road travelling at 150km/h in a 70km zone about 8.30pm.
The driver continued on and crashed into a parked car on Joan Court where he was intercepted.
The vehicle was immediately impounded for 30 days at a cost of $878.50.
The male driver from Craigieburn is expected to be charged on summons with exceed speed and other traffic related offences at a later date.
