Police are investigating a stabbing at Crystal Brook tonight.
About 8pm on Wednesday 18 September, police and emergency services were called to Giles Street after reports a man had been stabbed.
The victim, a 47-year-old man from the address, suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso. He taken to hospital where he is being treated for critical injuries.
About an hour later, a 53-year-old local man was arrested without incident. He is likely to be charged with assault causing serious harm.
