Detectives have charged a man after an alleged stabbing in Maroochydore on Monday (July 13).
Around 11am another man was walking back to a taxi at a Duporth Avenue accommodation.
It will be alleged a verbal altercation occurred between the man and the 29-year-old, who was then allegedly stabbed in the left thigh multiple times while in the vehicle.
The man was treated for a non-life-threatening injury at the scene and taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
It will be further alleged a man was located walking into a Sixth Avenue address at the corner of Kingsford Smith Parade around 5pm yesterday (July 16) where he was arrested without incident.
A 43-year-old man has been charged with one count each of wounding, unlawful possession of a weapon (a knife), possessing dangerous drugs, stealing and receiving tainted property.
He is expected to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.
