Police are investigating a domestic-related stabbing in Sydney’s west.
About 12.50am (Thursday 25 April 2019), emergency services were called to an address on Saddington Street, St Marys, after reports of a domestic incident.
Officers attended and located a 29-year-old man with a stab wound to his shoulder.
He was taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition. The offender had fled the scene.
A crime scene was established and police commenced an investigation.
About 2am, officers arrested a 20-year-old woman at a nearby address on Mamre Road.
The woman has been taken to Penrith Police Station where she is assisting with inquiries.
