A man driving a 1972 Ford Galaxy State Trooper was nabbed drink driving in Brunswick East early this morning.
Melbourne West officers ironically intercepted the vehicle on Lygon Street and spoke to the probationary driver about 12.40am.
Police conducted a roadside breath test and the male driver returned a reading of .062
A 27-year-old Brunswick man received infringement notices for drink driving with a loss of licence for six months and fail to display P-plates.
Operation Scoreboard will run state-wide this weekend and will see police conducting widespread roadside alcohol and drug testing across the state.
