We are very grateful that our community value our staff so highly and acknowledge that some parents are disappointed by our position.
Whether working as a gardener, garbage collector, parking officer, childcare or kinder educator, school crossing supervisor, planner, cleaner, fitness instructor or librarian (just to name a few), we are extremely proud of all of our staff who have done an amazing job all year for our community.
Many of our staff have regulatory and compliance responsibilities and the policy aims to protect our staff from risks around perceived corruption or impropriety.
We want our community to have confidence that all our staff act with integrity at all times and that is why a consistent approach across our workforce is taken. Whilst we are humbled by the kindness and support from our community, unfortunately we cannot accept gifts, although well meaning.
Any gifts received this year will be donated to local charities in Yarra.
