Premier Jacinta Allan has utterly failed Victoria’s most vulnerable children.
Today in Parliament, the Premier was directly asked to guarantee that there are no children in the family services system being prostituted.
The Premier failed to provide this guarantee.
This failure follows confirmation that 66 children known to Victoria’s child protection service have tragically died since January 2020.
In addition, there have been 5,400 reported incidents of abuse over this same period, including physical, emotional, psychological and financial abuse.
These tragic outcomes are the consequence of the Allan Labor Government’s failure to provide a safe home for vulnerable children that have nowhere else to turn.
