Ashgrove detectives today have charged a 35-year-old and 34-year-old man with a number of offences following investigations into the alleged theft of a tradesman’s trailer from an Ashgrove construction site.
The trailer contained over $50,000 worth of tradesman tools, which was stolen in the early hours of February 5.
Police will allege the trailer was located during the execution of a search warrant on March 4 at a Chambers Flat address.
The 35-year-old Logan man has been charged with ten offences, one count each enter premises, wilful damage, unlawful use motor vehicle, stealing, possession of suspected stolen property, possession utensil, possession property suspected to have been used in the commission of an offence, and two counts of receiving tainted property.
The 34-year-old Lockyer Waters man has been charged with five offences, one count each of unlawful possession of a motor vehicle, wilful damage, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of utensil, and possession property suspected to have been used in the commission of an offence.
The 35-year-old man will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 27, while the 34-year-old man will appear on April 16.
