Police are searching for a stolen utility after it rammed a patrol car at Gawler South early this afternoon.
About 12.45pm on Wednesday 6 October, Gawler patrols were called to a home at Gawler South after a resident reported a break-in.
The resident was not confronted but the offender stole the family vehicle, a black Isuzu D-MAX utility with registration S840BXY.
Police located the vehicle on Gawler-One Tree Hill Road and attempted to stop it however the car reversed into the police car.
The police officers involved in the crash suffered minor injuries with one officer being treated at the local hospital.
The utility has damage to the rear end and the driver’s side. If anyone spots the vehicle please contact the police assistance line on 131 000.
