Police have arrested five people in connection to a stolen vehicle on the commencement of Operation Whiskey Legion in Moreton District on Wednesday, May 22.
A black BMW was reported stolen from an Amaranthine Street, Mango Hill address between 8pm on May 21 and 3.30am on May 22.
With the support of the City of Moreton Bay Council extensive CCTV network, police located the vehicle in the vicinity of Anzac Avenue, Kippa Ring around 1.30pm
Three people were seen to run from the vehicle and police apprehended two of the alleged offenders a short distance away.
Police Dog Wolf and its handler tracked and located the third alleged offender on Fleet Drive, Kippa Ring.
A 15-year-old Zillmere boy has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He was also charged with an unrelated robbery that is alleged to have occurred on May 16 at a Maroochydore retail store.
He has been refused police bail and is due to appear in Brisbane Childrens Court on May 23.
