As a result, the Cinema currently remains closed to the public.
Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor Cr Chris Raeburn said the requirements in relation to COVID-19 were in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
“We’re currently working with various departments to devise the best plan to reopen the Cinema as soon as possible but unfortunately we don’t have a date yet,” Cr Raeburn said.
The postponed St Kilda Film Festival which was due to run in November has unfortunately been cancelled this year.
“We are hopeful that we can bring this incredible event to the region in 2022,” Cr Raeburn said.
“We will keep continue to keep the community updated with any news on the Cinema and when it will reopen.
“Thank you all for your patience and for your continued support of the Euroa Community Cinema.”
