With more than 20 years spent rocking crowds around Australia and the world, Eskimo Joe’s iconic alternative roots still go as deep as they ever did. The 35-time ARIA nominated, multi-platinum selling artists adding that they were excited to tear up the Summernats stage.

Having commanded the attention of both mainstream and alternative listeners for more than 20 years, Eskimo Joe bring with them the stage presence and talent that created hits like Black Fingernails, Red Wine, and, From the Sea.

Then it’s time to turn the show up to 11 with Aussie rock icons Jet making their Summernats debut at what is slated to be the biggest Nats event in its 38 year history. From their beginnings in a Melbourne garage to a spot in the ARIA Hall of Fame, Jet have belted out their legendary sound to audiences around the globe.

Ever since their 9 x Platinum debut album Get Born introduced us to their legendary sound with tracks like Are You Gonna Be My Girl and Cold Hard Bitch, Jet have become known for delivering big energy at their live gigs – something the Summernats crowd are well known for bringing plenty of themselves.

“It’ll be great fun to play to the Summernats crowd! We’re looking forward to sharing the stage with Eskimo Joe and Thirsty Merc for what will be a great gig.”

Get Born scored six ARIA Awards and was certified 9 times platinum in Australia, making it one of the top 5 highest-selling Australian rock albums of all time. The unparalleled success of Get Born at home was only one part of the story, as Jet topped both the US Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts and toured with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Oasis and Kings Of Leon, with eventual total worldwide sales in excess of 5 million albums.

Saturday night sees Hot Dub Time Machine, aka DJ Tom Loud, return on the back of an incredible night at Summernats 36 to take music fans on a journey through some of the greatest hits of all time and delivers an unforgettable performance that will have the Summernats crowd jumping and the night sky lit up with fireworks.

“I had an epic time at Summernats 36 and I knew I had to come back. The event is wild, and I can’t wait! I also want to see if my 1971 Datsun 1600 shows up. It was my first car and I sold it to a rev-head legend who was doing it up so I hope it does!”

Summernats co-owner Andy Lopez said Summernats co-owner Andy Lopez said “Friday at Summernats has become known as a proper rock show and we’ve delivered on that with an awesome line-up of huge Aussie rock acts. Jet, Eskimo Joe, and Thirsty Merc would blow the roof off Exhibition Park if it had one.
