Strike Force Vulcan officers are investigating several small scrub fires that occurred in Leeming around 3:05pm on Tuesday, 11 February 2020.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a scrub fire on Diamond Court near the Leeming Bowling Club. Several other small fires were extinguished along a bicycle path that runs alongside the Bowling Club and the Melville Glades Golf Club.
Around 10.35pm, Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to another scrub fire in the area. This fire was located on Bainton Road.
The fires are being treated as suspicious and investigators wish to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity, or has dash-cam vision of the above areas between 3pm and 11pm.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
