The lease agreement, spanning a period of five years with the option to extend for an additional five years, has been awarded to B Doyle & FJ Doyle for their exceptional proposal. The tender was selected based the numerous benefits it brings to the local community.
B Doyle & FJ Doyle demonstrated strong potential in the areas of benefit to the local community and value-added benefits. The company’s principal partner holds a business management degree and has provided references validating the requisite management skills needed to effectively run the facility. Additionally, the principal partner has completed pool lifeguard and first aid certifications, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for pool visitors.

To accommodate the increase in the budget for the first year of the contract, the Council has authorized the utilization of surplus funds from the 2022-23 budget.
