As the sun sets, Campbelltown Arts Centre (C-A-C) will come to life every Thursday and Friday over the next two months during the new Sundown Sessions program.
There’s something for everyone in the program, with Thursday nights reserved for children aged 6-12 and their families to explore and get creative with art-making workshops, tours with C-A-C educations and exhibitions during Sundown Squad.
Adults can hear from artists, enjoy art-making workshops and finish it off with cocktails, nibbles, live music and DJs every Friday during Sundown Socials.
“Sundown Sessions is an opportunity for people to come and discover everything that Campbelltown Arts Centre has to offer for the local community while getting out and about with friends,” Mayor George Greiss said.
“The Arts Centre is such a valued part of our community and deserves to be enjoyed by all, so I encourage people to get together with friends or the family and get down to either Sundown Squad or Sundown Socials to kick off your weekend,” Cr Greiss said.
Sundown Social starts on Friday, 13 May from 4pm to 8pm while the first Sundown Squad session will be held on Thursday 19 May from 4pm to 8pm.
