The Hills Shire Council is helping new and existing business owners to achieve even greater success as part of the popular How To series.
The new workshops will be launched in the lead-up to Small Business Month – a NSW Government initiative that aims to celebrate the vital work that small businesses play in supporting families, communities, and local and national economies.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Peter Gangemi said the series was perfect for both new and existing business owners.
“With approximately 24,000 active businesses across the region, Council is proud to support our business community, especially during Small Business Month,” Mayor Gangemi said.
“Our business community has been through many challenges the past few years, and this is one of the many ways Council is supporting our local businesses to achieve their dreams and so much more.
“I strongly encourage business owners, especially those who have just begun their business journey, to secure their place in these valuable workshops. You’ll gain practical tips and skills to help you further develop your business and take it to the next level,” Mayor Gangemi added.
Limited places are available in the ‘How To’ series, which will happen face-to-face in a small group setting at The Hills Shire Council’s administration building in Norwest.
Workshops will be available for those who have just started their own business, including legal requirements and how to write your very own business plan. Established businesses can also access workshops that will cover HR, growth and scaling, and marketing.
